٤٠٢٠ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: حَرَّمَ1 رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صلي الله عليه واله وسلم يعْنِي يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ الْحُمُرَ الْإِنْسِيَّةَوَلُحُومَ الْبِغَالِ، وَكُلَّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ، وَكُلَّ ذِي مُخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ. رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.

(1) The statement: “Prohibited domestic donkeys and mule meat”: In “Al-Durr al-Mukhtar,” domestic donkeys and mules from a donkey mother are not permissible. If the mother is a cow, it is unanimously permissible; if a horse, it follows the mother’s ruling.

(١)قوله: حرم رسول اللّٰه صلي الله عليه واله وسلم يعني يوم خيبر الحمر الإنسية ولحومالبغال. وقال في(الدر المختار): لا يحل الحمرالأهلية والبغل الذي أمه حمارة، فلو أمه بقرة أكل اتفاقا، ولو فرسا فكأمه.
