Al-Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) stood in prayer so long that his feet swelled. It was said to him: "Why do you do this when Allah has forgiven your past and future sins?" He replied: "Should I not be a grateful servant?"
