It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "May Allah brighten the face of a servant who hears my words, memorizes them, and conveys them. Perhaps a person who carries knowledge is not a scholar, and perhaps a person who carries knowledge to one who is more learned than him. There are three things upon which the heart of a Muslim does not harbor malice: sincerity of action for Allah, giving sincere advice to the Muslims, and adhering to their community, for their call surrounds them."
