Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man asked: “O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward?” He said: “To give charity while you are healthy and stingy, fearing poverty and hoping for wealth. Do not delay until you are on your deathbed and say: ‘Give this to so-and-so and that to so-and-so,’ when it already belongs to so-and-so.”
