Uthman reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no Muslim who, when the prescribed prayer becomes due, performs its ablution properly, with humility and proper bowing, except that it becomes an expiation for his previous sins, as long as he does not commit a major sin. And this is true for all time."
