Muhammad ibn Abi al-Mujalid narrated from Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa: I asked: “Did you take a fifth from food in the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?” He said: “We obtained food on the day of Khaybar, and a man would take what sufficed him, then leave.”
