Note 3

With every bell is a devil

(3) The statement: With every bell is a devil: The apparent wording is general, including large and small bells, whether made of copper, iron, gold, or silver. The summary is that any adornment with a sound is in the ruling of a bell and is not permissible for women or to dress young girls with it. So it is in Bazl Al-Majhud.
