Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: When the Prophet (ﷺ) was ill, some of his wives mentioned a church called Maria, which Umm Salamah and Umm Habibah had visited in Abyssinia, describing its beauty and images. He raised his head and said: Those people, when a righteous man among them dies, build a mosque over his grave and depict those images. They are the worst of creation in Allah’s sight .
