Nafi‘ narrated that a man sneezed beside Ibn Umar and said, “Praise be to Allah and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.” Ibn Umar said, “I also say, ‘Praise be to Allah and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,’ but it is not like that. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught us to say, ‘Praise be to Allah in every condition.’”
