Adi ibn Adi al-Kindi narrated that a freed slave of ours told us that he heard my grandfather say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Allah does not punish the masses for the actions of the few unless they see evil among them, are capable of rejecting it, and do not reject it. When they do so, Allah punishes both the masses and the few.”
