Abu Musa al-Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “By the One in Whose hand is Muhammad’s soul, good and evil are two entities set up for people on the Day of Resurrection. Good brings glad tidings to its people and promises them good, while evil says: ‘To you, to you,’ and they cannot escape it except by necessity.”
