Hadith 5460

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The most luxurious person in this world among the people of the Fire will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and dipped once in the Fire. Then it will be said: ‘O son of Adam, have you ever seen any good? Has any pleasure ever passed you?’ He will say: ‘No, by Allah, O Lord.’ And the most wretched person in this world among the people of Paradise will be brought and dipped once in Paradise. Then it will be said to him: ‘O son of Adam, have you ever seen any misery? Has any hardship ever passed you?’ He will say: ‘No, by Allah, O Lord, no misery has ever passed me, nor have I seen any hardship.’”
