Narrated by Al-Fakih: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to perform Ghusl on Friday, on the day of Eid, on the day of Nahr (sacrifice), and on the day of Arafah.

ف: حلیہ المحلی شرح منیہ المصلی میں لکھا ہے، عرفہ کے دن غسل میدان عرفات میں وقوف عرفہ کے لئے مسنون ہے تو اس دن تمام دنیا کے مسلمانوں پر غسل مسنون نہ ہوگا بلکہ ان ہی حضرات پر یہ غسل مسنون ہوگا جو عرفات میں ہوں اور وقوف عرفہ کر رہے ہوں۔ (عمدہ الرعایہ)12۔
