It is narrated from Ka'b ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) would not return from a journey except during the day, in the forenoon. When he arrived, he would first go to the mosque and pray two Rak'ahs, then sit in it."
