سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن حیان انصاری کی باندی بنانہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تھیں۔ جس وقت ان کی خدمت میں ایک لڑکی کو لایا گیا اس حال
میں کہ اس پر گھنگرو تھے جو بجتے تھے تو انہوں نے کہا: تم اس کو میرے پاس مت لاؤ مگر یہ کہ تم اس
کے گھنگرو کاٹ دو۔ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنتی ہوں: فرشتے اس گھر میں
داخل نہیں 2 ہوتے جس میں گھنٹی ہو۔ (ابوداؤد)

(1) The statement: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a bell": Our master Muhammad Yahya, the deceased, wrote from the explanation of his teacher regarding the statement: "a house in which there is a bell," that it is necessary to know that this disapproval applies to what is intentionally placed as such. As for what is not placed for sound or ringing, it is not prohibited, even if it occasionally produces sound, as observed with women’s jewelry when they wear a lot of it. Thus, it is stated in Bazl al-Majhood.
