سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ
وسلم نے فرمایا: بے شک یہود و نصاریٰ خضاب نہیں لگاتے تم ان کی مخالفت2 کرو۔ (متفق علیہ)

(3) The statement: "so differ from them": Therefore, it is recommended for a man to dye his hair and beard, even outside of war, according to the stronger opinion, but not his hands or feet, as that is disliked for resembling women. This is derived from Al-Durr al-Mukhtar and Radd al-Muhtar.
