A man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), "Which Surah in the Qur’an is the greatest?" He said: "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad (Surah Al-Ikhlas)." The man asked, "Which verse is the greatest?" He replied: "Ayat al-Kursi." The man then asked, "Which verse do you love to be granted for you and your Ummah?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, for they are from the treasures of Allah’s mercy under His Throne, given to this Ummah—they encompass every good of this world and the Hereafter."
Jubayr ibn Nufayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah concluded Surah Al-Baqarah with two verses from His treasures beneath the Throne. Learn them and teach them to your women, for they are prayer, Qur’an, and supplication."
Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah wrote a Book two thousand years before creating the heavens and the earth. He sent down two verses to conclude Surah Al-Baqarah. If they are recited in a house for three nights, no Satan will come near it."
Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him."
Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever recites the end of Surah Al-Imran at night, it will be recorded for him as if he stood the entire night in prayer."
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Recite the Qur’an, for it will intercede for its companions on the Day of Judgment. Recite the ‘two radiant ones’—Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran—for they will come like two clouds or two shades or flocks of birds, arguing on behalf of their reciters. Recite Al-Baqarah, for taking it up is a blessing, abandoning it is a regret, and the sorcerers cannot overcome it."
Al-Nawwas ibn Sam’an (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "On the Day of Judgment, the Qur’an and its people who acted upon it will be brought forth, led by Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran, like two clouds or dark shades with light between them, or like two flocks of birds pleading for their companion."
Al-‘Irbad ibn Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) would recite the Musabbihat (Surahs beginning with "Subhan" or "Sabbaha") before sleeping and say: "There is a verse in them better than a thousand verses." Abu al-Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal."

Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, light will shine for him between the two Fridays."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah recited Ta-Ha and Ya-Sin a thousand years before creating the heavens and the earth. When the angels heard the Qur’an, they said, ‘Blessed is the Ummah to whom this is revealed, blessed are the hearts that carry it, and blessed are the tongues that recite it.’"
Khalid ibn Ma’dan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Recite the Munjiah (Surah As-Sajdah), for I heard that a man who recited nothing else—despite his many sins—had it spread its wings over him and say, ‘O Lord, forgive him, for he often recited me.’ Allah accepted its intercession, saying, ‘Record a good deed for every sin and raise him a degree.’ It also pleads for its reciter in the grave, saying, ‘If I am from Your Book, accept my intercession; if not, erase me for him.’ It will be like a bird shielding him from the punishment of the grave. The same applies to Tabarak (Surah Al-Mulk)." Tawus said: "These two Surahs are superior to all others by sixty good deeds."
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) would not sleep until he recited Alif-Lam-Mim Tanzil (Surah As-Sajdah) and Tabarakalladhi bi-Yadihil-Mulk (Surah Al-Mulk). [Narrated by Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and al-Darimi]
Tirmidhi said: "This Hadith is Sahih."
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur'an is Surah Ya-Sin. Whoever recites Ya-Sin, Allah will record for him the reward of reciting the Qur'an ten times."

Ata ibn Abi Rabah reported: "It reached me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever recites Ya-Sin in the early morning, his needs will be fulfilled.'"
Ma'qil ibn Yasar al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ya-Sin seeking the pleasure of Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven. So recite it over your dying ones."

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ha-Mim al-Mu'min (Surah Ghafir) up to 'To Him is the final return' (40:3) and Ayat al-Kursi in the morning will be protected until evening. Whoever recites them in the evening will be protected until morning."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ha-Mim al-Dukhan (Surah 44) at night, seventy thousand angels will seek forgiveness for him until morning."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ha-Mim al-Dukhan on Friday night will be forgiven."
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Everything has a hump, and the hump of the Qur'an is Surah al-Baqarah. Everything has a core, and the core of the Qur'an is al-Mufassal (the shorter surahs)."

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surah ar-Rahman.'"
Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Waqi'ah every night will never experience poverty." Ibn Mas'ud would instruct his daughters to recite it every night.
Ma'qil ibn Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says three times in the morning: 'I seek refuge with Allah the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing from the accursed Satan,' then recites the last three verses of Surah al-Hashr, Allah will appoint seventy thousand angels who will pray for him until evening. If he dies that day, he will die as a martyr. Whoever says this in the evening will have the same status."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There is a surah in the Qur'an of thirty verses that interceded for a man until he was forgiven. It is Surah al-Mulk (Tabarakalladhi bi-Yadihil-Mulk)."
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "A companion of the Prophet (ﷺ) pitched his tent over a grave without realizing it. He heard a man reciting Surah al-Mulk until he finished. When he told the Prophet (ﷺ), he said: 'It is the Preventer, the Savior that delivers from Allah's punishment.'"
