١٦٨ - وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ (رضي الله عنه) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِيْنَ أَتَاهُ عُمَرُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْ يَهُودَ تُعْجِبُنَا، أَفَتَرَى أَنْ نَكْتُبَ بَعْضَهَا؟ فَقَالَ: «أَمْتَهَوِّكُونَ أَنْتُمْ كَمَا تَهَوَّكَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى، لَقَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِهَا بَيْضَاءَ نَقِيَّةً، وَلَوْ كَانَ مُوسَى حَيًّا مَا وَسِعَهُ إِلَّا اتَّبَاعِي». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ».
