Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would touch our shoulders in prayer and say: 'Straighten your rows and do not differ, lest your hearts differ. Let those of understanding and maturity stand closest to me, then those next to them, then those next to them.' Abu Mas'ud said: 'Today, you differ even more.'"
