Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever is given wealth by Allah and does not pay its Zakat, his wealth will be made into a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots on its eyes. It will encircle him on the Day of Resurrection, seize him by his jaws—meaning his cheeks—and say: 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.' Then he recited: And let not those who hoard what Allah has given them of His bounty think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they hoarded on the Day of Resurrection."
