Chapter: Standing at Arafah

Zujajat al-Masabih 3059Volume 2

English

Amr ibn Shu'ayb narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The best supplication is the supplication on the day of Arafah, and the best thing I or the Prophets before me have said is: 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.'" [Narrated by al-Tirmidhi] In Malik's narration from Talhah ibn Ubaydullah, it ends at: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner."
