Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"An army will march towards the Ka'ba. When they reach a desert plain, the first and last of them will be swallowed by the earth."
She said: "I asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, how will they all be swallowed when among them are their markets and people not of them?' He replied: 'They will all be swallowed, then resurrected according to their intentions.'"
