Hadith 3385

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) left her at night. She said: I felt zealous about him. He came and saw what I was doing and said: “What is wrong with you, O Aishah, are you zealous?” I said: “Why wouldn’t someone like me be zealous over someone like you?” The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Your devil has come to you.” She said: “O Messenger of Allah, is there a devil with me?” He said: “Yes.” She said: “And with you, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “Yes, but Allah has helped me against him until he submitted.”
