Burayda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The sanctity of the mujahids’ wives for those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. No man who stays behind and looks after a mujahid’s family, then betrays him, but will be halted on the Day of Resurrection, and the mujahid will take from his deeds what he wishes.
