English

Abu Rafi‘ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Quraysh sent me to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). When I saw him, Islam was inspired in my heart. I said: “O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I will never return to them.” He said: “1 I do not break a covenant or detain messengers. Return, and if what is in your heart now remains, come back.” I went, then returned to the Prophet (ﷺ) and embraced Islam.
