Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us one day and mentioned 2 misappropriation, emphasizing its gravity and severity. He said: “Let me not find one of you coming on the Day of Resurrection with a camel bleating on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’ Let me not find one of you coming with a horse neighing on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’ Let me not find one of you coming with a sheep bleating on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’ Let me not find one of you coming with a soul crying on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’ Let me not find one of you coming with fluttering rags on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’ Let me not find one of you coming with silent gold or silver on his neck, saying: ‘O Messenger of Allah, help me,’ and I say: ‘I have no power for you; I conveyed the message.’”
