Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated regarding the women’s pledge: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) tested them with the verse: “O Prophet, when believing women come to you pledging…” [Qur’an 60:12]. Whoever accepted the condition, he said: “I have accepted your pledge,” speaking to her. By Allah, his hand never touched a woman’s in the pledge.
