Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah, the Exalted, has prohibited wine, gambling, and the drum. 2 He said: Every intoxicant is prohibited. It was said: The drum refers to the tambourine .

(2) The statement: "the drum": Mirak said: It refers to the tambourine of amusement, not the drums of warriors or pilgrims. Thus, it is stated in Al-Mirqat.
