English

Ata al-Khurasani narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Shake hands, and rancor will depart; give gifts, and you will love one another, and enmity will depart.” [Narrated by Malik, mursal] Al-Bara ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever prays four rak‘ahs before noon is as if he prayed them on the Night of Decree, and when two Muslims shake hands, no sin remains between them except that it falls away.”

[Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu‘ab al-Iman]
