Narrated Ibn Umar: In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, men and women would perform ablution together. [Narrated by Muhammad and Al-Nasa'i]
Muhammad said: "There is no harm if a woman performs ablution and takes a bath with a man from the same vessel, whether she starts before him or he starts before her." This is the opinion of Abu Hanifa.

ف: اس حدیث میں ”كَانَ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ يَتَوَضَّؤُونَ جَمِيعًا“ (مرد اور عورتیں ایک ساتھ مل کر وضو کیا کرتے تھے) جو مذکور ہے اس زمانے کا عمل ہے جبکہ پردے کے احکام نازل نہیں ہوئے تھے اور جب پردے کے احکام نازل ہو چکے تو یہ عمل شوہر اور بی بی کے ساتھ مختص ہو گیا۔ (التعلیق الممجد، فتح الباری۔)
