Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When Uhud approached 1, my father called me at night and said, “I do not see myself but killed among the first of the Prophet’s companions to be killed. I will not leave after me anything more beloved to me than you except the soul of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I have a debt, so pay it, and enjoin good for my sisters.” We awoke, and he was the first killed. I buried him 2 with another in a grave. [Narrated by Bukhari] The author of Radd al-Muhtar said: Two are not buried in one grave except out of necessity, whether at the beginning or later.
