Narrated by Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him): He said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me while I was on a donkey, drawing water into a container. He said: 'O Ammar, what are you doing?' I replied: 'O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, I am washing my garment from sputum that has stained it.' He said: 'O Ammar, garments are only washed from five things: from excrement, urine, vomit, blood, and semen. O Ammar, your sputum, your tears, and the water in your container are all the same.'"

Note 1
(1) [Narrated by Al-Daraqutni from the hadith of Thabit bin Hammad, from Ali bin Zayd, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, from Ammar. Ali bin Zayd is Narrated by Muslim along with others, and Al-‘Ajli said there is no harm in him, and his narrations are written. Al-Hakim also narrated it in his "Mustadrak." Al-Tirmidhi said he was trustworthy. As for Thabit bin Hammad, no one accused him of fabrication except Al-Bayhaqi, although Al-Bayhaqi mentioned him in "Al-Ma'rifah" without attributing the accusation of fabrication. Al-Daraqutni and Ibn 'Adi said similar things. Al-Bazzar said Thabit bin Hammad was reliable, but there is no knowledge of him narrating anything except this hadith. He had a supporting narrator, and it was also narrated by Al-Tabarani in his "Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir," where [Narrated by Ibrahim. This was stated by the scholar Al-‘Aini in his explanation of "Al-Hidayah."
