Abdur-Rahman ibn al-Ala al-Hadrami narrated: Someone who heard the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “In the end of this Ummah, there will be a people who have the reward like that of its first ones. They will enjoin good, forbid evil, and fight 1 the people of trials.”

(1) His statement: “fight” means with their hands or tongues against the people of trials, such as rebels, Khawarij, Rawafid, and other innovators. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)

(۱) قوله : يقاتلون: أي بأيديهم أو بألسنتهم أهل الفتن أي من البغاة والخوارج والروافض وسائر أهل البدع. كذا في المرقاة».

(12) قوله: يقاتلون. یعنی اپنے ہاتھوں سے بھی جہاد کریں اور اپنی زبانوں سے بھی جہاد کریں گے۔ اهل الفتن. اس سے مراد باغی لوگ اور خوارج و روافض اور تمام اہل بدعت ہیں۔ (مرقات)
