From Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas: He said, "I wish that the one who recites behind the Imam has a stone in his mouth." [Narrated by Abdur Razzaq]
In Al-Ta'liq al-Mumajjad: "There is no harm in such statements for the purpose of warning and sternness. However, torturing someone with Allah's punishment is prohibited, though warning with it is not."
