From Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There was no prophet sent by Allah to any nation before me, except that he had companions and disciples who followed his way and acted according to his commands. Then after them came a group who spoke without acting, and acted without being commanded. Whoever struggles against them with his hand is a believer, and whoever struggles with his tongue is a believer, and whoever struggles with his heart is a believer. There is no faith beyond that, not even the weight of a mustard seed." [Narrated by Muslim.
