Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, Satan is like a wolf to the human being, just as a wolf is to the sheep. He takes the stray, the isolated, and the weak. Beware of the paths of misguidance, and adhere to the community and the common folk."

١٧٥ - وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ: "إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ذِئْبُ الْإِنْسَانِ كَذِئْبِ الْغَنَمِ، يَأْخُذُ الشَّاذَّةَ وَالْقَاصِيَةَ وَالنَّاحِيَةَ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشِّعَابَ، وَعَلَيْكُمْ بالْجَمَاعَةِ وَالْعَامَّةِ». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ.

اکیلی دور رہنے والی اور کنارے پر چرنے والی بکری کو پکڑ لیتا ہے تو تم شاہراہ اسلام کو چھوڑ کر گمراہی کی
گھاٹیوں سے بچو، اور تم لازم کر لو جماعت کو اور جمہور کو (یعنی چھوٹے چھوٹے فرقوں میں نہ بٹ
جاؤ)۔ (اس کی روایت امام احمد نے کی ہے)۔
