Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"No deed of the son of Adam on the day of sacrifice is more beloved to Allah than the shedding of blood. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, hair, and hooves, and the blood will reach Allah before it falls to the ground. So purify your hearts with it."
