In Rad al-Muhtar, it is said: "It is recommended for someone who receives a visible blessing, such as wealth, a child, or the removal of a calamity, to prostrate to Allah in gratitude, facing the qiblah. He should prostrate, praise Allah, thank Him, glorify Him, then say the takbir and raise his head, as in the prostration of recitation (sujud al-tilawah)." In Sharh al-Munyah, it is said: "He should say the takbir, face the qiblah, prostrate, praise Allah, thank Him, glorify Him, then say the takbir and raise his head."
