Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Generosity is a tree in Paradise. Whoever is generous takes hold of one of its branches, and the branch does not let go until it brings him into Paradise. Stinginess is a tree in Hell. Whoever is stingy takes hold of one of its branches, and the branch does not let go until it brings him into Hell.”
