Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the most frequent supplication of the Prophet (ﷺ) was: "O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

٢٩٤٨ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه)قَالَ : كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے آپ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی کریم
صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اکثر یہ دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے:
یا الٰہی! آپ ہمیں دنیا میں (بھلائی) یعنی صحت، رزق اور توفیق) دیجئے اور آخرت میں بھی
بھلائی (یعنی مراتب عالیہ اور دیدار الٰہی) سے مشرف فرمائیے اور ہم کو (اپنی مغفرت سے) دوزخ
کے عذاب سے بچائیے۔ اس کی روایت بخاری اور مسلم نے کی متفقہ طور پر کی ہے۔
