Amr ibn al-As narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: No people among whom adultery appears except they are struck with drought, and no people among whom bribery appears except they are struck with fear.

٣٥٧٦ - وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ يَقُوْلُ: (مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمْ الَّزنَا إِلَّا أُخِذُوا بِالسَّنَةِ، وَمَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ الرُّشَا إِلَّا أُخِذُوا بِالرُّعْب). رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ.

سیدنا عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ
علیہ وسلم سے فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہوں جس قوم میں زنا کاری پھیل جاتی ہے تو وہ قوم قحط سالی کا شکار
ہو جاتی ہے۔ اور جس قوم میں رشوت پھیل جاتی ہے تو وہ قوم رعب میں گرفتار کرلی جاتی ہے۔
