Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “1 Kill the elderly polytheists but spare their youth,” meaning their children.

٣٨٨٣-وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رضي االله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: (اقْتُلُوا شُيُوخَ1 الْمُشْرِكِينَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَاسْتَبْقُوا شَرْخَهُمْ)، أَيْ صِبْيَانَهُمْ رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُوْ دَاوُدَ.
