Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: I passed by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with my lower garment hanging loosely. He said: "O Abdullah, lift your lower garment." I lifted it, then he said: "Higher." I raised it further, and I continued to keep it so afterward. Some people asked: "To where?" He said: "To mid-calf."
