Nafi’ narrated: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: O Nafi’, my blood is surging, so bring me a cupper, a young man, not an old man or a child. Ibn Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Cupping on an empty stomach is best; it increases intellect, enhances memory, and strengthens the memorizer’s memory. Whoever is cupped, do it on Thursday in the name of Allah. Avoid cupping on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Get cupped on Monday and Tuesday, and avoid Wednesday, for it is the day Job was afflicted, and leprosy or vitiligo only appear on Wednesday or its night .
