Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not 1 truly believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something that, if you do it, you will love one another? Spread the greeting of peace (salaam) among yourselves.”

Note 1
(1) His statement: “you will not truly believe”: An-Nawawi said: “This is how it appears in all sources and narrations, without the final ‘n’ (in Arabic). The omission of the ‘n’ is likely for rhyme and balance. It may be that the prohibition implies negation, as is common among scholars, meaning you will not have complete faith. Allah, the Exalted, knows best.” As stated in Al-Mirqat.
