Thabit ibn Abi Safiyyah said: "I asked Abu Ja'far (Muhammad Al-Baqir): 'Did Jabir narrate to you that the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution once for each part, twice for each part, and three times for each part?' He said: 'Yes.'"
