Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah forgives all sins as He wills, except disobeying parents 1; He hastens punishment for its perpetrator in life before death.”

(1) His statement: “except disobeying parents…”: This concerns punishment; as for inheritance, it equalizes the righteous and disobedient child. [As stated in Al-Mirqat]
