Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good one to erase it, and treat people with good character.”

٤٨٨٢ - وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ(رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «اتَّقِ اللَّهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ، وَأَتْبِعْ السَّيِّئَةَ الْحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُهَا ، وَخَالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتَّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِميُّ.

سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: تم جہاں بھی رہو اللہ سے ڈرو! اور برائی سرزد ہو جانے کے ساتھ ہی
نیکی کرو! تو وہ نیکی اس برائی کو مٹا دے گی اور لوگوں سے اچھے اخلاق سے پیش آؤ۔ (احمد، ترمذی، دارمی)۔
