Atiyyah ibn Urwah as-Sa’di (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Anger is from Satan, and Satan was created from fire. Fire is extinguished by water, so when one of you becomes angry, let him perform ablution.”

٤٩٠٣ - وَعَنْ عَطيةَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ السَّعْدِيُّ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ الْغَضَبَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ خُلِقَ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَإِنَّمَا تُطْفَأُ النَّارُ بِالْمَاءِ، فَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.

صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: غصہ شیطان کی طرف سے ہے اور شیطان آگ سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے اور آگ کو
پانی سے بجھا دیا جاتا ہے، پس جب تم میں سے کوئی غصہ میں آ جائے تو چاہئے کہ وہ وضو کر لے۔ (ابوداؤد)۔
