Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The son of Adam grows old, but two things remain young in him: greed for wealth and greed for life."

٥٠٥٧ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ : يَهْرَمُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَشِبُّ مِنْهُ اثْنَانِ: الْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْمَالِ وَالْحِرْصُ عَلَى الْعُمُرِ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا:
آدمی بوڑھا ہوتا ہے اور اس کی دو چیزیں جوان ہوتی ہیں: مال کی حرص اور عمر کی حرص۔ (متفق علیہ)۔
